#21 although I know this picture could represent two of our vocal words I will only use is to describe the anther and filament of stamen. Above is photographed a hibiscus flower.. The long stalk coming from the center includes both the stamen an the carpel. If you take a close look you can see two different shaped yellow buds. The fuzzy looking ones on top are part of the carpel which I will describe in the next photo, but below that is the anther and filaments of this flower, this consists of the “male” parts of the flower. The anther is the part that releases the pollen and the filament is the tiny column connecting the anthers into one stamen.
